Monster Jam is Back!

The most action-packed motorsports experience for families is coming to the Ford Idaho Center on Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd!

Two years ago we went to Monster Jam and had a blast. It was our first time ever attending a Monster Jam event and let me tell you, it was a fantastic time for our whole family. Let me tell you why...

We went to the Monster Jam^® Pit Party which will be offered on Saturday morning October 23rd at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa for those that are interested. You get to see the massive trucks up close, participate in pre-race interviews with the drivers, get pre-signed autographs, take pictures and more. It’s an unforgettable part of the Monster Jam experience. Pit Party passes can be purchased for only $20 each for this VIP experience. Now onto the main event... MONSTER JAM!  It is an action-packed experience for the whole family featuring a mix of high-flying action and four-wheel excitement.  The 12,000-pound trucks and the world-class athletes who drive them tear up the dirt with gravity-defying feats. They push the limits in Freestyle, Skills Challenges and Racing competitions. It was a night full of unbelievable action and unexpected thrills. We were truly on the edge of our seats during this jam packed event.

     

Monster Jam drivers are trained, world-class male and female athletes who have mastered not only the physical strength and mental stamina needed to compete, but the vital dexterity to control 12,000-pound machines capable of doing backflips, vertical two-wheel skills and racing at speeds up to 70 miles per hour to produce jaw-dropping, live motor sports action seen around the world. Plus, we were able to be part of the action by voting for the winner in the two-wheel and freestyle competitions on our phones. My boys loved getting to be the judges after each driver completed their stunts.

It was a full day of non stop fun and ended with this moment of Linkin and daddy that I had to capture before we left. I hope you all get a chance to experience Monster Jam with your family. We definitely can't wait to go back again!

Here are some extra tips to make the most of your day. 

*During the Pit Party there are activities for the kids, so plan ahead with a little extra cash and of course to enjoy the delicious food options. 

*Bring jackets and blankets to stay warm. The event goes into the night so a blanket to bundle up in will keep everyone warm and comfy to enjoy the whole event. 

*We also brought noise reducing earmuffs for each of the boys, but they didn't seem to mind the noise and only wore them part of the time. Good to have on hand just in case.
