Monster Jam at Ford Idaho Center

MONSTER JAM at FORD IDAHO CENTER in NAMPA, IDAHO

 Most shows you go to once and that's all you need. But with Monster Jam, every event is unique and just as exciting as the first time! Lucky for us, Monster Jam comes around at least once a year, twice if we are lucky. Here are some of our highlights from our recent experience at Monster Jam along with some details and helpful tips if you are going.

My boys were on their feet a lot cheering on the drivers as they did awesome tricks. They loved that Monster Jam was interactive and they could score each truck after it was done. Then they cheered super loud when their favorite truck won! 

Monster Jam has food trucks outside and booths inside for food, drinks, souvenirs and a photo opp or two. Last time we got a picture of our boys and they put them as the drivers of Grave Digger. They thought it was so cool. So keep all this in mind when planning for the night. The food options for us were nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, various beverages and some treats like cotton candy. The souvenirs range from mini monster trucks to cool gear. Lots of variety for Monster Jam fans of all ages.

One major tip: Headphones are a must, especially for little ones at an indoor venue. The Monster Trucks are awesome, but they are equally as loud. My little guy is 3 years old and didn't even flinch at the sound of the Monster Trucks with his headphones on. He could just enjoy the show and I got to enjoy his eyes lighting up at everything he was watching. 

The Monster Jam truck drivers are so talented and really gave us a great show full of cool stunts! From flying high in the air to moving on two wheels and doing super fast donuts. Here are some still shots from the night. 

A major highlight at Monster Jam was meeting Bernard Lyght the driver of Megalodon after the show! The boys were all so excited to see him in the stands and ask him for a picture. He was awesome during the show and so kind after the show too. 

Always a favorite at Monster Jam is the dirt bikes. These guys can fly high in the air and do Superman type stunts. They are incredible and always jaw dropping. Definitely a huge highlight for both the kids and adults. 

Thank you Monster Jam, Feld Entertainment and the Ford Idaho Center for another FANTASTIC experience for our whole family. My boys and I can't wait to experience the excitement of Monster Jam again soon. We'll be back! 😉
